I’ve just realized how long it has been since I posted to this blog, or done any real magical work. Not good.
I was initiated into the Khepera Nu Ra temple of the Ordo Stella Matutina on March 17, 2007. Following my initiation I proceeded to promptly come home and completely lose my way in my practice. Once again, not good. I wish I could blame this on someone else, but as with all things, the fault is noone’s but my own.
I am returning to my practice, starting with making up a schedule for practical ritual work and study so that I don’t forget anything. Having a formal schedule should help a lot, as one of my key problems has been time management.

Hey are you still active in the Khepera Nu Ra temple? I just submitted my application to your Order. Kind of cool to find a temple in raleigh, especially after learning that the closest area to complete my physical initiation with the HOGD was in Michigan, I will still travel there if I have too, but Id rather continue here in NC if you the S.M. is a legit Order. I’m no longer active in the Golden Dawn system, I decided to pursue a more traditionalist path. I will say the S.:M.: is completely legitimate, and the guys I met at Khepera Nu Ra were a great group of people. I also met two of the three masters of the order, and have corresponded with the third online and can say they are all highly knowledgeable and legitimate practitioners. I’d highly recommend the S.:M.:. The only down side was the online part of the system was a little disorganized when I was an active member, but there were already plans in place to take care of that and I would imagine it is well in hand by this point.
